License Agreement
You should carefully read the following terms and conditions before using this
software. Unless you have a different license agreement signed by 8 Bit Software your use
of this software indicates your acceptance of this license agreement and warranty.
FREEWARE and upgrading to the PRO version
This is FREE software. Subject to the terms below, you are hereby licensed to
use this software free of charge. Users of the FREEWARE version of V3mail must accept the advertisements
that the program displays and no attempt will be made to disable the advertisement
downloading feature of V3mail
through any means. If you wish not to view the advertisements then you can upgrade
to the V3mail PRO
version of for $39.95 (US). Payments must be in US dollars drawn on a US bank
which can be processed via Online ordering
or sent to 8 Bit Software, P.O. Box 3376, Palos Verdes Estates, CA 90274. Credit card
ordering and quantity discounts are also available from the website Online ordering. Upon payment via online
ordering, you will immediately receive a Registration Name & Registration Key for
upgrading V3mail to the PRO
version.
Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California.
Disclaimer of Warranty
THIS SOFTWARE AND THE ACCOMPANYING FILES ARE SOLD “AS IS” AND WITHOUT
WARRANTIES AS TO PERFORMANCE OR MERCHANTABILITY OR ANY OTHER WARRANTIES WHETHER EXPRESSED
OR IMPLIED. Because of the various hardware and software environments into which V3mail may be put, NO WARRANTY OF
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE IS OFFERED.
The user must assume the entire risk of using the program. ANY LIABILITY OF THE SELLER
WILL BE LIMITED EXCLUSIVELY TO PRODUCT REPLACEMENT OR REFUND OF PURCHASE PRICE.
Distribution of FREEWARE Version
Provided that you verify that you are distributing the FREEWARE version (from the V3mail menu Help->About then select
the License button) you are hereby licensed to make as many copies of the FREEWARE version
of this software and documentation as you wish; give exact copies of the original FREEWARE
version to anyone; and distribute the FREEWARE version of the software and documentation
in its unmodified form via electronic means. There is no charge for any of the above.
You are specifically prohibited from charging, or requesting donations, for any such
copies, however made; and from distributing the software and/or documentation with other
products or services (commercial or otherwise) without prior written permission.
